OVERKILL Confirmed For Germany's ROCK HARD FESTIVAL

Long-running New Jersey-based metallers OVERKILL are the latest band confirmed for the 2005 edition of the Rock Hard Festival, set to take place May 13-15 at Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen. Other groups scheduled to appear at the festival include THE HAUNTED, CHILDREN OF BODOM, UNLEASHED, AMON AMARTH, MASTERPLAN, ENSIFERUM and HEAVEN SHALL BURN. As BLABBERMOUTH.NET exclusively reported on October 9, OVERKILL have inked a two-album deal with Sweden's Regain Records. The agreement, which covers the entire world outside the USA, will begin with the release of the group's next studio album, tentatively due in February 2005. The band will follow up the upcoming CD with extensive worldwide touring (USA, Europe, Japan and more).

OVERKILL's last studio album, "Killbox 13", was released in 2003 via Spitfire Records.
